Nurses invited to participate in 10-minute survey for research into AI in New Zealand health care

About the research

Our study explores which factors influence New Zealand health-care professionals’ intention to use AI-driven clinical decision support systems (AI-CDSS) — tools designed to assist with clinical diagnosis and treatment. As AI-CDSS technology continues to develop and enter clinical settings, understanding health-care professionals’ attitudes and intentions is essential.

Who can participate?

You are eligible to participate if you are:

A doctor or a nurse.
Currently working in New Zealand.

What does participation involve?

Completing a 10-minute online survey administered via Qualtrics.
The survey includes short vignette scenarios that were developed in collaboration with New Zealand healthcare professionals to ensure they are realistic and clinically relevant.
Participation is entirely voluntary and fully anonymous — no identifying information will be collected.

Incentive

As a thank you for your time, all participants who complete the survey will be entered into a draw for one of three $100 gift card vouchers.

Ethics

This study has received ethical approval from the University of Canterbury human research ethics committee (HREC). It is conducted in accordance with the UC code of ethical conduct for research, teaching and evaluations involving human participants.
