A group of Hutt Hospital nurses have called on Hutt city mayor Ken Laban’s help getting a hospital upgrade after struggling with “constant” overcrowding and, now, leaks.

Nurses have raised the alarm as staff and patients at Hutt Hospital face fire-risk “fizzing” walls, and water-catching wheelie bins in a case of leaky-health syndrome.
