She was a speaker at a multi-union rally for pay equity, held under the trees at Parliament on Monday, hot on the heels of a purple explosion for International Working Women’s Week.
Hospice workers help people through the most profound moments of their lives, she says, but are still fighting for a pay equity claim cancelled by the Government in a shock law change last year.
